New Yorkers are already struggling with sky-high health care costs. Now Mount Sinai is demanding massive price hikes, moves that would drive more than $1 billion in higher health care costs over the next three years.
That money doesn’t come out of thin air. If Mount Sinai succeeds, working families, employers, and taxpayers will face higher premiums, bigger out-of-pocket bills, and rising costs for health plans.
